Every year the drama department honors Sara Hunt, one of the founders of the Blackbox shows who died in her early twenties from leukemia - with the "Sara Hunt Blackbox Show". As part of the annual showcase, the Theater department presents the Sara Hunt Award to the student in the cast who most demonstrates and practices the virtues of ensemble and theatre.
